For everything I see I imagine what else is there. Everything, object or circumstance, has meaning for the beholder. At that moment past meets present, reality meets fantasy, wakefulness meets dream, simplicity meets multiplicity, confusion meets clarity, time meets time. No matter what is there in front of you there is always something else, real or imagined, dreamt or experienced, occupying that same space. My work asks the beholder, as I ask myself, to look and then look again for what else might be there.
